Abstract

The development of Rabbani generation which is an important asset of the country. Due to the influence of Western ideology, Muslim community is exposed to numerous of damages and impairments be it political, religious, social or moral aspect. The young generation are among the main targets of the western influence and civilization. The young generation is the most vulnerable group that is exposed to the challenges brought by the westerns. Over time, Western ideology and lifestyle have eroded the faith, spiritual and identity of the Muslim young generation. This research aims to examine the spiritual development of the Rabbani generation based on the spirituality of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This research takes the form of secondary analysis or library research. Finding shows that the spiritual development is an important thrust that need to be fulfilled in order to develop Rabbani generation. The formation of Rabbani young generation will provide the country with the most needed line of leadership. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the best role model in a development designated with a strong faith, praiseworthy moral and possesses a close relationship with Allah S.W.T. Making the Seerah (prophetic biography) of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as a guidance will bring the young generation to the value of life that Allah is pleased with and the noble one. This research is hoped to become the starting point of a perfect and complete human spiritual development.
